Honeysuckle is much loved because it has a beautiful shape, does not require fussy care and is meant for fortune. It is believed that the more lush the tree, the more new shoots, the more fortune and luck the owner has.
However, there are people who grow honeysuckle just watering it without adding any nutrients to the plant, causing the leaves to turn yellow, the plant cannot grow.
In order to have a lush honeysuckle, with green leaves all year round, it is necessary to regularly fertilize a “material”. That’s a banana peel.
Banana is a favorite fruit of many people because it can relieve constipation and promote gastrointestinal digestion. After eating a banana, do not throw away the banana peel after eating because it is a good “natural fertilizer”.
The content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in the banana peel is relatively high, and it also contains a variety of trace elements necessary for plant growth.
Perform:
1. Water fermentation: Wash the banana peel, cut it into small pieces with scissors and put it in a plastic bottle, then put a sufficient amount of water in it, cover it, and put it in the room to ferment. It will be fermented for about 10 days.
Fermented banana juice is diluted 20 times with water at the usual temperature to irrigate honeysuckle and fortune-telling plants, or spray on leaves. Watering once every 15 days, about 50ml each time, leaves can be sprayed more often, once every 5-7 days, the leaves will be especially beautiful, the roots are stronger, the potting is unexpected.
2. Banana peel powder: Wash the banana peel, cut it into small pieces and let it dry naturally. If there is no sunlight, you can use the oven to dry, then wrap the food in plastic wrap, use a rolling pin to grind it into a powder. In the outer ring of the potting soil, dig 2, 3 cm, sprinkle with banana peel powder, then spread the soil to wet.
Give honeysuckle and fortune tree “eat” some banana peel, this is cost-effective and practical. With this “material”, the leaves are lush, not yellowed, but also bud, bringing the buds home.
